Any of you out there who have Addy:
Can you look on the back of her neck and see if there are numbers below the "PLEASANT COMPANY" stamp? Also if you can let me know what the numbers are so I can tell if there is more than one combination. I am trying to find out if all the Addy dolls have this number stamp, or only the older ones. Thanks in advance for any help!

Stacie, my Addy doll has a 148/16 stamp below and to the right of the PC name on her neck. I called AG some time ago and asked about the numbering and was told that it doesn't mean anything, it is simply a way for them to tell what body and face/head mold was used in case they have to replace something at the doll hospital.

They told me the same thing, but added that some of the newer ones have tags sewn inside the body for the same reason (headless doll comes in, they know which one to give it)
Alot of the heads have the numbers on the part of the neck that is inside the body instead of outside

My original West German Addy has the numbers 148/16 under the Pleasant Company copyright. I was told that those numbers indicate the West German factory, but I don't know for certain but I do know that she was made in West Germany.
